Known as The Pearl Of Africa, it is diverse in nature.
The landscape encompasses the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria. Its abundant wildlife includes chimpanzees as well as rare birds. Remote Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a renowned mountain gorilla sanctuary. Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known for its 43m-tall waterfall and wildlife such as hippos.
Background
Kigezi Biota Tours, is based in Uganda and is a locally owned Tour Company based in Kigezi region the home of Mountain Gorillas doing tours both in Uganda and Rwanda.
It was established by Ms. Lilian Kamusiime and was among the first female safari guide/driver in the country.
Our Company stands to enhance recognition and awareness of the pleasant biological, cultural and the associated geophysical diversity for conservation of our country.

I am a volunteering team member at Kigezi Biota Tours. My background is with placements in the corporate and non-profit enterprises for the last few years. I have a long-term passion for contributing to Biodiversity conservation on freshwater resources and I am happy to be part of the Kigezi team.
