OMUTIMA PROJECT
About the Program
Omutima is one word meaning both heart and soul in Rukiga (Chiga), the language of Southwest Uganda. It
is here that Rossane met Lilian on a safari to Uganda who introduced her to the children at Rumbugu Primary
School. ‘‘Needless to say these children stole my heart.’’ Rossane says always. Omutima started off as a small
project to provide the students with much needed shoes and supplies so they could attend school. It has turned
into so much more. Connecting kids across the globe and sharing experiences while contributing to the children
of Rumbugu to better their education and improve their opportunities.A 30.000Ltr tank has been built, a resource
room is in place, some few individual children have sponsors and very few in special circumstances are supported
